Global Retail Company: Retail Operating Solution Strategy & Validation

Business Challenges

The client performed vendor evaluation and package selection for a new global ROS solution to be implemented in their core retail businesses: Free standing stores, corporate company stores, corporate stores, clientele locations, salons, and spas. The solution has been successfully implemented in Turkey, Denmark, and Hong Kong. They needed some assistance performing a validation of the solution for the North American market.

Our Approach

We collaborated with the client to perform an assessment of the current state of their inventory. We identified and developed the functional requirements and created the To-Be Model for Inventory Management for a retail operating solution.

What We Accomplished

We developed all inventory management best practice flows (Levels 4) including forecasting, demand planning, warehouse management, store inventory receiving, and processing. We worked with vendors to understand application gaps and key business work around, as well as provided key recommendations for SAP integration.
