Global Consumer Product Company: Global Supply Chain Strategy
Business Challenges
This business was embarking on a transformation of its Global Supply Chain Operations and strategic vision. Many supply chain functions are being evaluated for re-design based on global, regional, and local requirements. In addition, a planned move to a standard, consistent set of global supply chain business processes will provide an operational framework for the establishment of a simplified technical solution for the global ERP implementation and rollout.
Our Approach
Our approach entailed evaluating the supply chain processes across USA, Canada, Latin America, Europe, India, Korea, and China and providing recommendations on the future global business model. We performed a benchmark analysis and maturity analysis and defined a To-Be O (Supply Chain Process) model for the Phase 2 ERP implementation.
What We Accomplished
The team performed a current state analysis and decomposed supply chain processes across USA, Canada, Latin America, Europe, India, Korea, and China. We also developed and validated the future state model and recommended an organizational strategy to support the roles and responsibilities defined for each of the business processes. Lastly, we created a roadmap that supported industry best practices and defined critical success factors for the enterprise transformation of supply chain operations.
